The Dress

I wore my stunning Leah Da Gloria dress on 25 May 2019 and felt like all my bridal dreams as a little girl had come true. You experience the best of both worlds with this dress as it moulds to your body and is extremely easy to move in, while the detachable skirt allows you to have your gorgeous bridal moment before you remove it and dance the night away.

The design of the dress is from Leah's Boheme collection 'Lexington', however was custom made from start to finish to my measurements, and a few changes to the V at the front were made (slightly less of a plunge neckline). The V at the back was kept low and feminine.

With signature Leah Da Gloria ivory lace with 3D flowers and a nude fabric underlay, the dress flatters the body's natural curves. The dress has a small train, and a bustle. The detachable skirt has the same ivory lace flowers trickling down from the top, making it look as though it is flowing on from the dress.

The skirt has several layers of tulle and organza and is cathedral length. It moves like an absolute dream, and you feel like you are gliding. The train has a bustle, so it can be buttoned up for ease of wear or if you choose not to remove it. It also comes with custom Leah Da Gloria veil pictured (approximately $800 RRP) .

I normally wear size 6-8 (B cup bust). I am 160 cm tall and wore 10cm heels on the day.

The dress is professionally dry cleaned and boxed in acid free tissue paper. There are absolutely no tears or marks on the dress and is in perfect condition. The skirt is bagged in a branded Leah Da Gloria bag with matching hanger. I only wore the skirt for a few hours in the beginning of the day so it is as new.

You can tell how much I love this dress, and think it could make another lovely lady feel incredible on her special day.
