The Dress

Ethereal and breathtaking, this glimmering Rachel Gilbert Lilyth gown is a perfect dawn to dusk dress. Falls beautifully with subtly shimmering hand-sewn beads and sequins throughout and stunning straps, neckline, and a low back. Gown sits elegantly and comfortably on the body, complimenting figure without feeling too clingy or tightly fitted.

Rachel Gilbert Size 1 translates to an Australian size 8.
Regarding length: I’m 160 cm and I wore 10cm platforms with the Lilyth gown.

The gown was hemmed to include a lovely modest train that can be lifted to make the gown the same length all the way around for more carefree walking after the ceremony. The dress was worn once this past August 2014 for my wedding; it has been professionally dry-cleaned and is just as white and sparkly as the day I purchased it.

I still have the original Rachel Gilbert tags, garment bag, a packet of extra beads/sequins, and a beautiful, unused Rachel Gilbert box for storing the gown.

I felt beautiful and joyous in this gown and I was told by several people on the day, “You are a vision in that dress”…I hope it makes someone else feel like a vision on their wedding day.
