The Dress

I wore this incredible Pallas gown for my wedding in April 2021 at Aravina Estate. I was super particular when choosing a dress as I wanted to show off a small waist whilst also feeling comfortable to breathe, eat and dance. I wore the dress all night with ease, it was completely perfect!

A Pallas dress really is different from all the rest. I searched high and low across Perth and Melbourne for a lace dress but was constantly let down by the quality of so many other cheaper designers. This Pallas gown is impeccable with exquisite hand-made lace detailing, genuine boning, and a 3 layer skirt made from transparent lace and organza. When the sunlight shines through, it creates the most beautiful sparkle and silhouette.

The dress has only ever been worn once, by me, and is dry cleaned. During the festivities, the dress incurred a very small tear in the train, which can be easily repaired. I can provide you with additional lace taken from the hem to assist your seamstress. See images here:

Along the straps, there is some very minor fraying on the underside, which again is very easy to repair. See images here:

Alterations

I purchased this dress from Pallas in Perth at a size 10. The dress was tailored to my size by a local seamstress who worked at Pallas Couture. She maintained and hid the extra material from the straps and bodice so it could easily be lengthened and altered again for the next bride. A hidden hand loop and bustle is also added to the dress should you wish to hold it up with ease while mingling and dancing. No major structural alterations were made. The dress is still the original Pallas design.
