The Dress

An elegant Allure Couture gown covered head-to-toe in beautiful lace along with a heavily beaded bodice and custom design elements. It has a gorgeous low back, super long train (with a custom 9 piece bustle), tasteful v-neckline, and ivory buttons lined down the entire back of gown.

Personally, I felt really beautiful, comfortable, and confident in the dress. When it hits the sunlight(or dance floor lights), the lace has a beautiful, yet subtle, shiny element that makes you feel like you're glowing, which every girl wants to feel on their wedding day. The only damage on the dress is 1-2 missing buttons on the back (because I was getting down on the dance floor!), but it should be an easy fix.

In terms of sizing, I am usually a size 4 (6 if I want a loose fit) in shirts and a size 8 (10 if I want a loose fit) in pants, which gives me a pear shape. I fluctuate between a 34B and 32C throughout the year, so the dress has stitched-in B/C cups, but they can be easily removed if needed. I am 5'8 without shoes.

Alterations

The dress was originally a size 10, but I lost weight before the wedding and I had to alter it to size 8 measurements (a seamstress should be able to take the dress back out to a 10 if needed). I also simplified the v-neck design (no frills on the neckline unlike the original design) and added more volume to the skirt.
