The Dress

Lace sheath dress with cathedral train. It's more of a champagne color than cream. Criss-cross straps across back.

I have never felt so beautiful as I did in this dress! I was complimented all night long. As opposed to some ball gowns I had considered, this dress felt "grown," modern, and mature, without being overly revealing. It would give me so much joy for this dress to have a second life! I have a lot more photos, just send me a message and I can send them to you.

Size - I am 5'4.5 and wore 2.5 inch heels. My waist is 27 in but I had a bit of room in the waist, so you could probably still fit if you're a 28. I definitely maxed out the hips (40 in) so if your hips are bigger, you won't fit.

The dress was surprisingly comfortable and easy to both walk and dance in, which was a concern of mine getting a sheath dress. In addition to the bustle, it comes with a wrist loop that made it great for dancing.

I chose not to have the dress dry-cleaned for two reasons- first, I live in NYC where the price to get it dry cleaned would be more than the increase in resale value. Secondly, there is really not much to clean- just some small scuffs along the hem. Let me know if you want to see photos of the scuffs; I want you to know exactly what you're getting!

If you're interested in the ballerina-length veil, I can throw that in for $75.

Alterations

I added a bustle (one hook) so that's one less thing for you to worry about! I also had it hemmed to my height with shoes. I got the dress from someone who'd never worn it but had changed the straps to be straight in the back, and I had them reverted to the original cross-back design.
