The Dress

Ivory mermaid dress with delicate, beaded 3D embroidered details to include lace straps to give bardot look (straps are removable and have poppers). Has a sleek but soft stretch Mikado bodice, plunging illusion sweetheart neckline, supportive illusion corset back, and romantic organza and tulle train.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress on my wedding day and hoping it will bring joy to someone else who is looking for a second-hand dress. I would recommend this dress is only purchased by someone who is a fair bit shorter than me due to the dark marks on the bottom of the georgette and a few barely visible holes in the tulle train (as pictured). I am 6ft1 so I think this could be a good option for someone shorter who is willing to have the bottom shortened in length. The marks appear on the georgette up to approximately 3 inches at the front and around to 10 inches further round the back where the train connects. The holes in the tulle are approximately 3 inches up too.

Alterations

I had the following alterations:
- waist taken in substantially (I needed to buy quite a large size for my wider bum/hips)
- bustle added
- reinforced poppers for straps
- bra cups added (look easily removed if preferred)
- shortened in length (again larger size purchased for length as I'm 6ft1 - still very long dress)
