Genuine custom made Paolo Sebastian Swan Lake Wedding Dress and Paolo Sebastian custom Italian tulle veil

Australian designer Paul Vasileff, the genius behind the Paolo Sebastian label, has created amazing pieces worn by a raft of Australian and international celebrities including Jennifer Hawkins, Carrie Bickmore and Delta Goodrem. His designs have featured in countless magazines and have graced red carpets at the Emmys, Golden Globes and Australian award nights including the Logies and Brownlow.

The Swan Lake Wedding Dress is one of his most sought after designs. Part of Paolo Sebastian’s 2013 collection, it was said to be the most repinned wedding dress on Pinterest of the year. The gown has appeared in multiple bridal magazines and has featured twice on the cover of Cosmo Bride.

This particular dress was custom designed and made by Paolo Sebastian. I travelled Adelaide to collect it from Paul in early 2015.

It has been worn once on my wedding day. And it is simply too beautiful to not be worn again.

The silk charmeuse lined nude bustier (nude rather than white) creates a flawless base for the stunning hand beaded lace work, which is intricate and impeccably detailed.

The skirt has silk charmeuse lining featuring a split to mid thigh. The skirt is overlaid by flowing silk organza panels of off white and oyster to create tonal layers, which simply float down from the detachable silk ribbon at the waist.

The Italian tulle veil has been custom designed by Paolo Sebastian for this dress. It is 4-5m long and completes the stunning silhouette of the dress.

The dress and veil were such a joy to wear - I felt like a floated in them the whole day.

The dress has been made for a petite frame (AU size 6-8). The dress has been created custom fit for a 65cm waist, 80cm bust and height of 157cm (plus 9cm heels).

To ensure the dress is in ideal condition for resale, it has been washed and regenerated by a Melbourne based wedding designer. 1mm of the edge of each organza panel has been meticulously trimmed and re-edged so you receive an absolutely fresh hem.
