The Dress

The Berta 15-110 is a beautiful mermaid gown with amazing lace and elegant beading. it has a corset bodice which is held up with a pearl detailed strap that dips down into a low back. The multiple layers of Ivory lace flow into the chapel-length train, which has a bustle. The dress was cleaned and museum-quality preserved in 2017 after my wedding and has been in the box undisturbed since that time. It is in good quality. Note, some of the pearl beading on one strap came loose right before my ceremony, but a handy wedding planner fixed it and it is undetectable. I tried on dozens of dresses and nothing came close to how glamorous I felt in this truly amazing Berta dress. I cannot overemphasize how stunning the dress is. For reference, I am 5'1 and was around 5'5 in my heels. I wear a 32 B/C depending on brand. At the time I was ~ 115 lbs.

Alterations

Dress was hemmed and taken in. It has padding in the bra that can be replaced and a bustle (serious of numbered ties). We also added a small bit of lace along low backline. Note, though I was only 5'5" with my heels, my 5'10 sister tried it on and it was amazingly long enough for her (without shoes) because the train is so long. The long train also provides ample extra fabric, if necessary.
