The Dress

A stunning dress from Élysée, her name is Françoise with custom made matching chantilly lace & tulle 3/4 length sleeves.

The attention to detail on this dress is unmatched!
Floral, baroque lace with thousands of hand-embroidered beads and paillettes sparkles over delicate french chantilly lace, curving gracefully around the body to contour and elongate the silhouette. Figure-flattering, deep side cutouts reveal a subtle hint of skin, while a double layer, sculpted baroque lace train completes this dramatic look.

I’ve tried to capture how beautiful the delicate shimmer of the beads provide but the video doesn’t really do it any justice.

I bought additional Chantilly lace & tulle to have 3/4 length sleeves made, and for the same lace to be added to my cathedral length veil. You can see in the photos I have included what the dress originally looked like.

The dress is floor length, I’m 5ft 2 and wore 4” heels on my wedding day.

I’m smaller on top wearing a UK size 10 and have bigger hips so typically wear a size 12 in jeans.

I have listed to include the additional chantilly lace & tulle I bought to have sleeves made.

Please note, I haven’t had the dress dry cleaned as it didn’t get dirty and I changed for our evening reception.

Alterations

• I had 3/4 length sleeves made in matching chantilly lace & tulle.

• I also had a few lace flowers appliquéd onto the deep sides as I felt a little exposed.

• Length was cut.

• Bustled using clear buttons.
