The Dress

I got married in 2011. This was a sample dress from that year. It was worn for bridal pictures and on the wedding day. Beyond that it has been stored in garment bag in a closet. I loved the flowing ballgown skirt!! The rouching on the skirt gives it a unique look. It can be bustled up or let out to full length as show in the picture where I am kneeling down. The top is a fine lace/mesh material with beautiful crystal beading. The beading is fragile at this point and could result in some beads falling off when handled. The rhinestone star was added at my request. There is some dirt/black marks at the very bottom of the skirt, but is not very noticeable. May come out with cleaning. The dress had to be altered to remove material so it would sit on my shoulders. I am quite short so it left a huge gap between the dress shoulders and mine. After the alteration, it fit well everywhere. The dress has a higher square neck line, full back, and short sleeves. My wedding was within a very religious ceremony community hence all the coverage so would be great for that of needed.

Alterations

I am quite short for my overall size so there had to be quite bit of material taken out of the shoulder area of the dress to make the dress actually sit on my shoulders. The rhinestone star was added to the dress at my request.
