The Dress

DRY CLEANED AND CUSTOM-BUSTLED WITH ORIGINAL GARMENT BAG AND TAGS.

This is a very rare, 100% silk crepe Vera Wang Bridal Couture design of which few were made, purchased new from an upscale bridal boutique. Two-piece silhouette with an illusion mesh panel.

I had a removable bust panel added due to my large chest, but the mirror photos are of me trying it on un-tailored and would probably fit a B or C-cup without the panel; it's a super easy-to-tailor design. The tailor said that someone with a smaller chest could even add sew-in push-up cups for $20 and keep it how it's currently tailored.

I wore it as my reception entrance dress. The brief hour I wore this yielded some of the most special photos (and memories!) of my entire life, walking around and greeting all our loved ones.

When I was having the removable bust panel added, the tailor said that alterations-wise, it was the easiest wedding dress design she had ever worked on. So, this design is uniquely tailorable to fit you like a glove. She said you can add or remove panels to "edit" the neckline however you want (for modesty or playfulness), and due to the stretchy mesh panel connecting the pieces, the options are endless to lengthen or extend the positioning of the skirt or even to remove the mesh panel.

I am 5’4 and wore 5.5” wedges. My street size is 6, give or take.

It didn't even really need dry cleaning since I wore it so briefly, but I got it done anyway so it would be perfect for the next bride.
