The Dress

Beautiful now discontinued Pronovias Wedding dress - purchased in size 12 but altered to fit size 8.

Simple strapless, sheath with crystal embellished sweetheart neck that wraps around the top of the dress, across the mid-rise back.

The skirt has a silky layer underneath making it smooth and comfortable to wear and the top has a corseted bodice that was raised to cover bigger cups making it very secure throughout the dancing.

The dress has been altered in length at the front for easier walking.

It has a wrist loop to hold the dress while dancing.

It has been professionally dry cleaned since our wedding and there are no marks or blemishes visible.

I felt truly stunning and I loved the simple but glamorous feel of the embellished bodice. It was very comfortable to wear and easy to get into and not at all heavy.

Alterations

Altered from a size 12 to size 8 as it was last one in the country by the in-house Pronovias seamstress.

Predominantly, bringing the bodice in and up to cover my breasts and shortening the length of the dress.
