The Dress

Up for sale to make another bride feel as beautiful on their day, as it did me.

So cliche.. but this dress is way too beautiful to sit in a cupboard and never be worn again. As much as it breaks my heart to see it go, it deserves more.

The stunning Galia Lahav G-104. So delicate and dainty, yet surprisingly fits snug in all the right places. The 3D flowers are SO beautiful, not done justice in photos. The mesh across the bust allows a daring but flawless look. No boobies falling out over here!! And do not get me started on the back. The dress, is a work of art.

I went in to try this dress with the thought I would never actually buy it, as it was out of budget. I tried it on, and there was simply no other choice and I brought it right then.

I wore this dress only for a few hours as shortly into the reception I changed into a party dress to avoid damaging it and so I could get naughty on the dance floor.

Absolutely, the most flattering dress I have ever worn. Jaws hit the floor when guests saw it. Not me, the dress. I got so many comments on it; most beautiful dress they’ve ever seen/ belongs in a magazine etc. Our photos were featured on Galia Lahav. This dress just has way too much life left in it, to sit in my cupboard. I want a new bride to love it, just as much as I did.

Ordered in size 36 with a D cup variation to the bust. So suits a smaller gal with a bigger bust - I personally have a breast augmentation and it sat beautifully. That said, the cups can be altered smaller if needed as my tailor told me better to order big and make them smaller if needed. The cups aren’t rigid so will mould to your body shape with the help of the mesh.

Dress was dry cleaned right after my wedding and came out close to perfect. There is a small amount of discolour in a few of the flowers at the very bottom, however quite minor. And the train is so full it would be almost impossible to spot when wearing. I believe there may also be a small tear at the bottom in one layer of the netting but again very hard to see when wearing, due to all the layers (I think there is 11). I only knew because the dry cleaners told me. Can send photos of this if needed and I’ve priced accordingly.

Professionally dry cleaned, hung and stored in original dress bag away from
sun. Originally purchased from Dion for Brides for $11,390 AUD. Able to send through proof of purchase if requested. Made to order in Israel.

Alterations

Alterations include:

Removal of the shoulder wings as I prefer the look without. However I still have them and they can be easily reattached if you wanted that look.

Length of train slightly reduced as I found the original just a bit too bulky, especially as I’m not super tall. As you can see from photos, the train is still very luscious and long.

Fitted around waist / bust

Please note I am AUS 6 with larger bust. Would would be equivalent to US 2 / Galia Lahav size 36 (which I believe is EU 36). It does state above however this is equal to AUS 10. A bit confusing with different country sizing so best to go with measurements.
