The Dress

Beautiful ball gown dress in Organdy fabric (doesn’t crease!). Several layers of tulle (loads) making the skirt huge on its own without addition of hoop or underskirt - stands up on its own when off. I did add underskirt and hoop (mostly to push the tulle away from my feet making it much easier to walk) but it wasn’t necessary for size of fullness of skirt. It features illusion fabric at the sides and bust area for deep V cuts which is super flattering.

I only got to wear this for a few hours at my ‘1 year anniversary celebration party’ due to Covid and not wearing it for actual wedding day so it’s in amazing condition having been professionally dry cleaned. There are some minor catches to the fabric on the inside of the bottom of the skirt (not visible at all when wearing as these areas touch floor) but otherwise perfect condition.

Major selling points for me were the beautiful long full train, buttons all the way down train and it has POCKETS - the material not creasing was a huge bonus too!

It had minor alterations done at bust and shoulder area in first fitting, then Covid changed our plans so it was held in the shop storage for over a year in which time I had a baby - no alterations at the fitting 4m before as still had mum tum, then shop refused to alter further closer to wedding (ridiculous), meaning unfortunately dress ended up quite big in most areas (bust and waist) so it can be altered much more if required. No alterations to skirt or length. Diamanté belt purchased separately and sewn on my shop (cost over £200 itself).

Veil is in worn condition and needs a little attention but happy to include for free if buyer wants to try to salvage it - diamanté ivory veil as seen in pictures.
