The Dress

Stella York #7397 - Almond

This dress is brand new, ordered and delivered to my house. Only tried on once. This was the 2nd dress I bought as I started having second thoughts about the first dress - and I couldn't find any store that had both in stock to try on side by side. This was the dress that made my mom cry .... cue the guilt trip that I had picked the wrong dress the first time around ;-)

Ultimately, when both dresses arrived at my house and I tried them on together, I fell back in love with my first dress, as it was just more unique and not as "classic" or traditional (thus, more me).

That said, some major perks of this dress (compared to the one I actually wore :-P)
-Soft, stretchy fabric is easy to move (aka dance) in
-Long, gorgeous train
-Sooo comfy
-Looked so good with a variety of sleeves. I have several pics with different sleeve styles on if you're interested in seeing how it looks with various sleeves. Let me know and I'll share more pics.

NOTE: I ordered this dress in the ALMOND, not the IVORY (the ivory felt like a true white and the almond had more of the off-white color that I expected of an "ivory" dress). The pictures in the bridal shop are the sample dress in IVORY. The pictures with the blue wall in background are the actual color I ordered. The dress is also not clipped and fitted properly in the home pictures (blue wall background) which is why I included the shop pictures so you can see how the dress really fits once it's tailored. The pictures with the model are also the ALMOND dress I actually ordered.

ALSO NOTE: The one picture with straps - these straps are not included and did not come with the dress. However, if you are interested, I can include the straps for a small additional charge as I did end up ordering them and wearing them with my other dress. They are detachable but the dress would need to be altered to be able to attach them to the dress. :-)
