The Dress

This dress is so timeless. I definitely wanted something that was not going to age, or look back on and think I should have made a different choice. It is very structured and figure hugging. I have quite a straight up and down figure however the dress gave me curves that I was very happy with! I wore a petty coat under neath to really kick the bottom out. This will be sent with the dress. I felt amazing in the dress and everyone commented on how classic it was.

I am quite broad in the upper body and smaller on the lower half. The dress is missing the very last button on the end of the train and there are few threads on the hem at the front that are loose but I wanted to leave intact. It has been professionally cleaned by Accent Original Boutique, Newcastle. It is kept in a dress bag so although cleaned the material creases quite easily. It looks amazing when freshly steamed.

Alterations

Dress was taken in at the knee to create a more pronounced mermaid effect. It was also taken in at the sides to cinch the waist. All alterations were done by a professional seamstress.
