Off the Shoulder
The Dress
Beautiful off the shoulder ivory ballgown with pockets and gorgeous buttons that begin at the top of the dress and continue down the entire length of the train.
The dress was worn only on my wedding day, and is in good condition. It has been professionally cleaned and has not been removed from the box since.
I received so many compliments on my dress, in fact, I still receive compliments today from guests at our wedding who loved the dress. It was comfortable and elegant.
Alterations
One layer of tuile in the skirt was removed to make it less big. Two layers of toile were inserted to provide more of a cover in the chest, otherwise it would have been very see through, as the slit in the chest is quite low and wide. Dress was shortened to my height (5'4), a 3 prong bustle was added, although it broke during the wedding and it was taken in to fit my size, that of a UK12 in normal clothes.
