The Dress

This striking Mikado silk mermaid gown exudes modern elegance. The luxurious fabric has a slight sheen and the lines are flattering. This strapless gown has a plunging illusion sweetheart neckline, a scoop back and a zipper closure with covered buttons trailing down the elegant train. The only reason I’m selling it is because it no longer fits me. I still love the dress and ended up purchasing the same one in a larger size.

I purchased this gown as New on Stillwhite. The gown is New, however my seamstress found evidence of it having been altered in one spot. There is a 2”-3” area of tiny stitching marks along the side seam which really aren’t visible unless you get very close but I want to be completely transparent. I haven’t noticed any other areas that may have been altered. Other than that, the dress is in beautiful condition. It’s never been worn. The previous owner mentioned she had lost weight and it didn’t fit right so my guess is that she had it taken in a bit and then let back out to it’s original size.

I’m including my measurements and description of how it fits me for your reference. The dress zips up on me but my butt/thighs are way too big for it.
