The Dress

Description from designer: “Traditional yet modern, this allover lace fit and flare is sure to highlight your figure. My wedding was in a church setting, with a contemporary reception in a central London photography studio. It proved to be quite a challenge to find a dress that covered both of these requirements, and could fit in in both of these environments. The dress is completely made of a lace polyester, making it very stretchy and figure hugging in a very flattering way. Although it appeared right to my body all the way down to the floor it was very easy to walk around and wasn’t restricting at all. The lace of the fabric is made up of different types of flowers, with a big sunflower over the very centre of the dress. It was a very happy pattern and it definitely made for a dress with a lot of personality. The lace also came out great in my black and white pictures. I am also selling my veil in this listing as well, the scalloped edge of the two tiered veil reflected the scalloped edge of the dress, and they matched perfectly together. Description of veil by designer: “A beautiful veil with a pretty corded lace edge, starting from the elbow, cascading down to the train. Shown here in our two tier 126″ length, in ivory.”

Alterations

Dress bought off the rack as sample size 10 - altered to match the measurements described above. Lace trim in same colour and style as rest of lace added to make a belt effect around waist. Added by tailor, completely stitched in and does not affect buttons. Stitched in bustle and hook to lift up train and make walking around easy around ceremony
