The Dress

I loved wearing this stunning, simple dress by Made With Love Bridal. The dress's focus point is its plunging neckline, supported by barely-there mesh that kept me feeling comfortable throughout the day. It has a beautiful mid/low back, and elegant rounded spaghetti straps. The deep underarm cutouts made me feel secure in the dress, without worrying about sweat stains on the dance floor.

I didn't picture myself in a long dress or a low back, but this dress was so flattering and comfortable that it totally changed my mind. Despite having quite a casual personal style, I felt like myself in this dress and it gave me so much confidence throughout the day.

I paired this with a simple topper (not included), but the A-line dress can absolutely stand on its own. It has been dry cleaned and has no stains or defects.

Originally $2,400 off the rack, I'm really just hoping to recoup the costs of alternations and drycleaning.

Alterations

This dress was originally a size 6. I had it brought in throughout the bodice and hips to fit my size 4 frame. We tightened the mermaid effect around the hips and backside to accentuate my curves. Finally, we cut away part of the train, making it easier to walk and dance without a bustle. (Orginal bustle still exists on inside of the train.)
