The Dress

Off the shoulder organza ballgown with ruffled skirt and low back. Designed by Ivory Willow. Purchased at a boutique shop in April 2023 for an October 2023 wedding. Beautiful A line dress that looked stunning with movement and dancing. Felt like a princess all day (especially with the long princess braid I had my stylist pair it with). The belt shown in the photos was an alteration addition -- my stylist suggested when I was trying the dress on and my mom and I thought it made the waist line of the dress really pop. It's a beaded belt with rhinestones, opals, crystals and blush beads. We kept the ribbon at the back so we could tie a bow -- looks really pretty when walking down the aisle with the dress unbustled.

Dress also comes with detachable sheer bishop sleeves (there are hidden loops under the straps) which I have and will provide if you buy the dress. I personally didn't like how the sleeves looked and was having a warm weather wedding so I don't have any photos with them.

Alterations

I only had alterations to the bodice to make it form fitting (I was in between a size 18 and a size 20 in the dress). I also had my tailor add the crystal belt pictured in the photos for added interest at the waist line. Finally, I had the tailor add in a French bustle so I could walk around easily at the reception. I did not have the dress hemmed -- I am 5'5" and wore 3.5" heels with the dress.
