The Dress

The "Helena" Dress with Swarovski Crystals by Vera Wang is a beautiful and timeless dress.

It is an ivory white strapless dress, it has a bit of a traditional feel with the ballgown silhouette but a modern twist with the "messy" tulle look with lace. It has a light sprinkling of Swarovski crystals throughout the dress in a very discreet way as I didn't want it to be overly formal.

The beauty in this dress is that it moves with you and doesn’t make you feel that you need to be extra careful not to wrinkle it, since it was part of the style for it to have a messy look.

I bought it from the Vera Wang boutique in Beverly Hills, California in 2014. It was professionally dry-cleaned at Madame Paulette in New York shortly after the wedding.

It was worn only once and felt extremely comfortable and lightweight to wear which is exactly what I wanted to have as an experience as I didn’t want to feel constrained by a heavy dress and wanted to be able to enjoy the night which I was able to do with this dress!

The dress was retailed at $23,000 including the veil. The price listed is with a matching veil and I can offer the dress at a discounted price if you are not looking to get the veil with it. The pink sash/ribbon in the picture is not included. It does not come in the original Vera Wang garment bag but it is neatly packed inside a high-quality grey-colored Monique Lhuillier garment bag which is the same size as the white
Vera Wang garment bag it came in.
