The Dress

I bought my wedding dress at Lovely Bride in Pasadena, CA. Ivy and Aster is the brand of the dress. The top is detailed, lovely and lightweight. It has beautiful silk buttons on the side. The skirt is a high waist skirt that clips in the back. I am short waisted so getting a two piece dress was ideal for my body type and one that I felt comfortable and beautiful in, esp since I was having a Louisiana wedding in November and a Hawaii wedding in December. I paired this dress with my grandmother's cowboy boots. I also bought a belt (that's what you see b/w the skirt & top) from another store that matched well and brought the dress together. Everyone was amazed at the fact that it was a two pieced dress. You could even wear the top on your first year anniversary, etc.

I am roughly 5ft 3.5 inches tall and am a 4/6 in size. I believe the dress is a size 8 and I had it taken it but I can't find a size on the Ivy and Aster label. The dress was professionally cleaned and the cleaners put it in a lovely box after it was cleaned which is where it has remained since being cleaned.

The skirt was hemmed and top was taken in on the side.
