The Dress

I loved the unique look of this dress as soon as I saw it - but it was the feeling it gave me when I tried it on that made it "the ONE".

As a curvy bride, I was looking for a dress that would flatter my shape and be easy to wear.
This dress was like wearing a cloud - light, airy and so comfortable!

The pleated tulle skirt and the geometric bodice are the perfect mix of romance and modernity.
I added a split on the left side of the skirt and it made it even more fun to wear, (and have bathroom breaks without any help!) - but because of the pleats in the skirt, it's invisible when standing, so the leg is not "on show" at all times.

The dress comes with detachable sleeves, which I took off for the reception. I had a belt and some soft straps custom made so I could change the dress into "party mode". Having straps instead of sleeves made it much easier to dance! Both the straps and the belt are included with the dress, so you have options to play around with.

Lots of emotions and incredible times were had in this dress.
It's full of good karma and I'm sure it'll bring you as much joy as it did me!

I wear size 16 in street clothes. (22 in Alena Leena Bridal)The dress has cups which gives amazing support (no need to wear a bra) and can also be adjusted in alterations. I am 173cm and was wearing 8cm tall shoes, for a hem at 181cm.

Alterations

I got a split added to the left side of the dress but you can't see it unless you're walking or purposefully popping your leg out. If you don't want a split, you could close it up and being pleated tulle the seam would be invisible.
I had the detachable sleeves shortened (they are closer to 3/4 now) and I also got them slimmed so they wouldn't be too puffy or boho. They look much more modern this way.
I also got a couple of layers of tulle taken out so that the skirt wouldn't be too voluminous.
