This dress was perfect.

I knew I wanted something 'different' but didn't quite know what I wanted and this dress felt so perfect. It is the perfect mixture of architectural, edgy, romantic without being boring or old fashioned, structured yet still soft, modern yet whimsical, feminine and Ethereal...

I feel you can go in any direction with styling for this dress also. Hone in on the structural and edgy look with slick hairstyle and textured or statement jewelry or lean into the whimsical side with softer hair and jewelry.
I opted for softer accessorizing with soft curls out of my face and off my shoulders to allow the dress to shine, no necklace and beautiful gemstone and pearl drop earrings and a tennis bracelet.

Details to help:
- I searched high and low for a 2nd hand option of this dress before purchasing it at full cost, I am excited to hopefully make a beautiful brides year by now selling this dress on.
- Purchased from an extremely reputable bridal shop 'Bloom Bridal' who is a Brisbane Australia stockist
- Purchased in April 2024, alterations completed in July 2024, worn on my wedding day end of August 2024.
- Worn for ceremony and photos and changed out of dress prior to reception entrance so there was no dancefloor stains or spills at all.
- Dry cleaned immediately after wedding and perfectly packaged up ready for it's next bride to cherish and feel like a princess when it arrives.
- This dress is honestly in beautiful condition, no signs of stretch, wear, tear etc. to the material layers. The only signs of very small wear are visible when looking very closely at the hem there are some areas with light marks to the white stitching, not to the material itself. This is unavoidable for any wear really, so I was very impressed with the dry cleaners job.
- Absolutely no signs of fake tan, sweat marks etc. Tag and hanging straps still attached to dress so it really will feel brand new and special for it's next owner. (can send real time photos and videos, just ask)

Alterations

Alteration Details:
- I purchased the dress in a Size 14 and had the dress altered to my measurements which I have provided below for reference and can also send photos of measurements taken.
My measurements at time of alterations:
BUST: 104cm
LOWER BUST/RIBS: 82cm
WAIST: 81cm (Smallest)
HIPS: 112cm (Widest) No alterations made to skirt so it is as per size chart of NEWHITE size 14.

- I fit into a size AUS 12-14 mostly, obviously depending on clothing. I have a smaller waist with larger hips and bum, this dress is perfect for an hourglass type of figure and snatches the waist so beautifully. Let me tell you I felt SNATCHED, but also SO comfortable and didn't feel like I had to suck in or worry about my belly at all. The material is extremely flattering.
I only wore nipple covers and seamless underwear underneath.

- It wears and falls beautifully and the train is the perfect length.
- My professional alterations cost $942 and consisted of:
~ Shortening the hem and lining (with heels on) so that the front of dress just grazed the ground and to avoid tripping/ damage
~ Taking in the top/ waist to my measurements
~ Adding a stronger hook and eye closure to the back above the zip
~ Adding a bustle with invisible clear button between inner layer and organza layer
~ Invisible hand loop added to organza layer
+ No alterations were made to the skirt size so it remains as per original size 14 and could be taken in as required if you are smaller size.
- For anyone AU size 12 and below, this dress would be perfect as it may either fit perfectly or you could take in further as required.
I am happy to answer any questions about the alterations as I understand it is daunting.

Shoes & Height:
I am 165cm tall and I wore 'Pink Inc - Secret, Ivory Fabric Sandals'
The heel height is a 7cm rounded block heel. I wore these for my alterations appointment for the measure of the hem height
Total height 165cm + 7cm = 172cm
