The Dress
House of Mooshki Rose, worn once, bought new, dry cleaned. Tea length ivory satin.
Sleeveless full satin 1950's inspired ball gown wedding dress.
'Pure elegance describes this simple and sophisticated sleeveless gown best. Simple and elegant, this dress is something special. A very plain duchess satin bodice with bateau (boat) neckline decorated with satin buttons to the back. A 1950s inspired circular skirt to offer volume but elegance and to add to the vintage styling. House of Mooshki make all their dresses to order to the bride's specification.'
Size 14, 36" bust, 32" waist. It has come out a bit yellowish in the pictures but it is ivory in real life. It has a belt as seen in the picture; separate, removable, you could change it for another, perhaps with a bit of sparkle if you fancy.
As you can see in the first picture, it's got quite a full skirt, which is just lovely when standing and even nicer when sitting down! It feels heavy out of the box and the quality is beautiful. Inside the dress there is the Mooshki label and also a wide elasticated strap which sits below the V back, just holding it nicely in place.
There is a zip and a lot of buttons. You'll need someone to do these up for you! Comes with a matching ivory belt with a bow on the front, which is separate from the dress; but you could easily choose something with a bit more bling, as the dress itself is very plain. I wore a simple wrap but you could choose a little bolero or something sparkly. It's very versatile!
While photographing it I noticed a really really faint line on the left front skirt. Presumably this is from the dry cleaner as it looked pretty much flawless when I sent it off and I just wanted it freshened up. I have had the dress out of its bag a few times in order to photograph it and never noticed this until yesterday; in fact I stood my husband 6ft in front of it and asked him to look hard to find a fault in it and he couldn't. Happy to send more pics if required.
