How do I delete a sent message, photo or video?

Deleting messages is particularly useful if you sent a message to the wrong chat or if the message you sent contains a mistake.

Messages that are successfully deleted will display as Message deleted.

To delete a message, photo, or video

Website

1. Go to your Inbox
2. Open the conversation
3. Click the icon under the message, photo, or video you want to delete
4. Select Delete

Mobile app

1. Select the Inbox tab
2. Open the conversation
3. Tap and hold the message, photo, or video you want to delete for 2 seconds
4. Select Delete
