How do I fix PayPal payment errors?

Occasionally when making a purchase, PayPal displays the error message "Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later".

The error is usually caused by a setting in the seller's PayPal account. Please ask the seller to complete the following steps before trying to make the payment again. You may simply link them to this article.

Please note: The following steps should be performed by the seller.

1. Login to PayPal

Click the cog icon and select Account Settings.

2. Select Website payments

Then click Update under Website preferences.

3. Scroll down to Encrypted website payments

Select the Off radio button.

This setting allows Stillwhite to create a PayPal payment button on the sellers behalf, which simplifies transactions.

Once complete, the buyer should no longer receive the error when making payment.
