The Dress
Gorgeous floor length, silhouette ball gown made of silk chiffon fabric with illusion neckline, delicate Chantilly lace cap sleeves, and lace-trimmed open back. Perfect for someone looking for a elegant, yet light weight and comfortable wedding dress.
This dress has never been worn and was brand new when I purchased it in 2016. (I ended up purchasing a different dress for my wedding).
The dress (a US size 6) proved to be very true to size:
- I am 5'8 and weighed around 140 pounds when I purchased this dress
- I wore a size 6 at the time (sometimes 8, depending on the brand)
- I am a 34-36 A cup (although the bust area definitely had extra room and would fit someone with a larger bust)
Alterations
Minor alterations only. The dress was hemmed to suit my height of 5'8 and cups were added to the bust (however, these are easily removable). No other changes made to the fit of the chest or bust area of the dress.
