The Dress

As soon as I saw the Anna Campbell range of dresses, my heart was set, her style is breathtaking. While we had a wonderful stockist in Perth, she did not carry the full range, so after visiting only a couple of bridal stores in Perth I flew with my mum to Melbourne soon after!

Thankfully we made the trip, as I found this beautiful one of a kind Michelle dress which encapsulates vintage charm and glamour. The top of the dress both front and back is covered with sparkling handsewn beads to the waist, balancing a slimline skirt of embellished vintage lace with a full train which can be easily bustled. The silver hand-beaded belt detail creates focus and a beautiful slimming shape. The back is a flattering open T-bar design, finished with the classic Anna Campbell bow.
So many of my wedding guests commented on what a beautiful dress it is due to all the intricate detailing and gorgeous fabrics.

I only wore this dress once on my wedding day and it has been dry cleaned and boxed. On the day I was a size 8/10AU. I am 168cm tall and wore approx. 7cm heals, with the seamstress getting the perfect length to only just touch the floor at the front. The dress can be altered in width and length to suit by any good seamstress. I paid $900 for alterations and $450 for dry cleaning soon after the wedding.

The dress was handmade in Melbourne, Australia with 100% silk lining and padded bust, added through alterations.

I am so sad to sell my dress, but I just can’t bear to have it sit in a cupboard to never be seen again! I do hope that this dress can help be someone else’s perfect fit!
