The Dress

The gorgeous Charlotte dress by Kate Halfpenny is made from the most luxurious Italian silk crepe and is just the perfect dress for any shaped body. The full circle skirt with train floats effortlessly off your hips, and the draped bodice is just soft and perfect for a fuller bust and makes a smaller bust look marvellous too. The arm drapes can be tied as a halter neck or tied under the arm for the evening so you are strapless.

Brought from Kate Halfpenny's boutique in Bloomsbury London, I wore this dress at my wedding in August 2018. The dress has been professionally cleaned and boxed and is in very good condition; a few superficial flaws on the train of the dress from wearing it, few on the inside of the dress, but really not noticeable (happy to share photos).

I wore it only for a few hours before changing into another dress for the evening. I am 5'5/ 5'6, UK size 8 (34B chest) and wore 3.3inch heels on the day.

Alterations

I had a belt added to the inside of the bodice as I lost some weight before the wedding; I personally think that it is flexible enough to fit a UK size 6 - 10 because of the stretch corset.
