The Dress

This is the stunningly elegant Tasha dress from French designer Rime Arodaky's Mystical Love collection. I purchased it from the Mews Bridal in Notting Hill, and wore it for my wedding day in France earlier this year. It has an empire silhouette in crisp crepe fabric and the bodice is embroidered tulle with a delicate floral lace. The fitted sheath and flared train is extremely flattering. Being lightweight, it was perfect for a summer wedding in the blazing sunshine. I felt absolutely wonderful in this dress, and wish I could wear it every day!

It has been freshly dry cleaned, with no visible staining.

Alterations

I am normally a UK dress size 6-8 petite, so I had the hem shortened slightly, but left the train at its original length. I also had the hips taken in slightly as well as covered cups sewn into the bust. It was very difficult to find underwear for this dress so the cups gave me support and sturcture while being completely invisible. The alterations were done by Sewn Right, who are an absolutely impeccable alterations team in London.
