The Dress

This dress is a show-stopper. It is elegant, sexy, and classic. What makes it so unique is that it has the most incredible stitch-work in the bodice that pulls your waist in. The bottom is a beautiful layered, petal silk-organza. The details and craftsmanship of this dress, as well as how it fits on the body, is what sold me. The back has buttons all the way down and the bodice is figure-hugging and flattering.

I had a bustle that was created for the dress, as well as a bustle button on the back of the gown. You can also hold the bustle as you walk with a hidden fabric strap that is under the dress.

The dress is missing one standard gown button on the back, but that can be easily replaced with your tailor. Since this was worn at my wedding in an outdoor venue, I will have it professionally dry-cleaned once for you. You may need to get it dry-cleaned again to get any residual dirt from underneath the train.

Alterations

I spent around $750 in alterations on this dress. The nice thing is that the woman who did my alterations made them specifically for resale. I am 5'7 (5'9 with shoes), and I had the organza hemmed so that it does not drag in the front as I walk, but if you are taller you can easily have them let out the hem. I am a 34C bust, and my tailor added fabric cups inside so that I have a bit of a lift, but if you are a fuller bust you can take those out. Additionally, I had the seams tailored on the waist and hips to fit my frame, but you can let the seams out or in a bit, just get a good tailor.
