The Dress

I purchased the dress brand new from Jane Hill in Prahan. It is a beautifully simple dress with a stunning shape. I chose it because the material has a slight stretch to it which I found hard to find. I loved wearing it as it was extremely comfortable and really flattering. Unlike a lot of plain white fitted dresses that I tried the material of this dress is amazing and super forgiving. It has really discrete boning in the bodice. As discussed below, I had it taken in to be more fitted, it would fit a 6 or a small 8.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned at Syndals Bridal Dress Cleaners and is in perfect condition. I am happy to also sell the veil for an extra $200.

Alterations

- extra padded cups added which gives a really nice silhouette (I’m usually a C cup but would probably be fine for a B to D cup, plus you could remove the cups)

- taken in to create flattering tuck under the bum

- I had the dress taken in to be more of a fitted style, as you can see in the pictures

- taken up(I am 169cm without shoes but it would be fine for someone slightly taller than me as I allowed a slight drape on the floor)

- I purchased the dress from jane Hill in a size 9 (I found Jane Hill dresses come up quite small) but with alterations it is definitely more of a size 6-7

- buttons moved across to make tighter on top

- I had the dress altered by a professional seamstress recommended to me by Jane Hill
