The Dress

I felt so beautiful and comfortable in this dress at my wedding and reception! The plunging back photographs beautifully and shows off the tiny buttons that run down the length of the dress. This dress was worn once for my wedding and was professionally cleaned and preserved. However, there is a small gold mark on the lace that was discovered when opening it for sale- it is not large and can probably be fixed easily and at a low cost.

Alterations

Dress was altered at the waist and hips for a more fitted trumpet-style silhouette. The cap sleeves were taken in slightly to fit just off the shoulders and a small lace flower was added to the back of the dress to cover the clasp at the top of the zipper. Bra cups were added to provide additional support (my bra size is 32 D), but these can be removed to accommodate a different cup size. I wore a French bustle for the reception but the dress also looks beautiful with an American bustle.
