The Dress

Finding your dream day dress is such a special moment, and I felt like Megan Markel on my special day in this stunning Jane Hill gown.
This gorgeous gown was from their 17/18 collection, and I was lucky enough to snap one up before it was discontinued.
I opted for the white lace and nude underlay instead of white, to enhance the beautiful lace detail - and the photos highlight how perfect this decision was!
The back is a zip, with buttons (refer to photos).
The gown was altered by Jane Hill to suit my measurements which included being taken in around my bust and waist, adding in a small amount of padding to the cups (I’m a B cup) and taken up. I am 178cm tall which is on the taller scale, therefore shorter brides would be able to have this taken up further to suit without trouble.
I would say this dress would suit a bride that is a small 4-6.
The dress also has a bustle & a wrist strap to hold the train!

The dress was worn for a short 5 hours, and is in perfect condition (dry cleaned and stored in a special hanging bag to avoid discoloration and damage).
I was undecided on if I should sell it and opt to wear it around the house, because it’s absolutely stunning that it needs to be worn again! But instead I’d prefer to put it up for sale for another bride to feel as magical as I did, on my wedding day.
I wore a Jane Hill veil as per my images, which I’m happy to also throw into the sale complimentary, if it’s still available upon seller enquiry.

For those that are a bit eery and is convinced a second hand dress brings potential bad luck - I’m going to disagree with you because my day was nothing short of the best day of my life, with so much love and the dress was the show stopper for my guests. You’ll be pleased to know that if you purchase it, then you’ll have a gown that is blessed with good vibes and happy times!
