The Dress
This Justin Alexander silk gown is a dream. It's hard to explain the crispness of the material but it looks and feels so luxurious. There is so much movement. The designer describes the color as "natural" - it's somewhere between bright white and ivory.
The side rouching is enormously flattering.
The dress zips up the back with tiny illusion silk-covered buttons.
The train is gorgeous and the dress was altered for a three-point bustle in the back.
The dress has been dry cleaned and pressed.
Alterations
After purchasing the dress as a gown size 12, I lost about 25 pounds. When I wore the dress I was between a street size 6 and 8. The dress was taken up (I am 5' 4" plus 3 1/2" heels). The dress has side seams so was easily taken in (and could be let out).
