The Dress

My wedding is coming up this summer and will be in Mallorca, Spain. I went on a trip to Spain a few months ago to do some wedding preparations and ended up making and appointment with a Bridal Store in Barcelona. I found this dress there and I fell in love. The designer (San Patrick Studio) is native to Spain! I didnt know this before, but apparently Barcelona is the bridal capital of the world according to the Sales Woman.

I liked the dress up until recently when I tried it on again for the first time in months. I bought a new dress a few days later out of impulse at a sample sale. I didn't get this dress altered in any way and it is still NWT. I actually in retrospect deeply regret my last minute decision to change dresses because this was the better dress in so many ways.

The dress is absolutely gorgeous. The lace is high quality and delicate. Also, the beading work is incredible. (The beading is not just appliques!) It has a beautifully done high back and also comes with an incredible and dramatic CAPE. The cape attaches at the shoulders and is like 6 feet long. It is truly a dress fit for royalty!
