The Dress

This is the finest in timeless COUTURE custom dresses from KOSIBAH (www.kosibah.com) it was designed for my wedding in the dreamy Lake Como, Italy. Kosibah have been designing couture dresses for 30 years, we have photos of every delicate stage of this dress being produced if you wish to see the care and quality that has gone into creating this.

The dress features their signature style of detailed firm corsetry and boned bodice that recreate the classical and elegant HOURGLASS figure, giving you curves and a flatter stomach. This corset is of a very high quality and will shape you in all the right places, there is no need for shape wear or a bra under this dress.

This dress was MAGICAL to wear, I felt truly amazing and although I did not hit the gym for my wedding, the dress did everything for my shape!

It is constructed with a hidden bodice on the inside of the dress found in the dresses of many top designers which is why you will see celebrities sporting the perfect figure at high profile Red carpet events; it is followed by layers of matt blush satin, one layer of ivory lace featuring glittery pattern that subtly shimmered in the light and a top layer of premium LUXURY ivory 3D bold lace and SWAROVSKI crystals added sparingly.

The dress flares out from the thighs just below the hips, this part of the dress is made from multiple layers of tulle in a blush colour. The train is 2.5m long. It definitely has the WOW factor.

It features a zip up back with blush satin and tulle covered buttons over the zip (this made it 100% easier to get on and off!). It has multiple layers of soft netting underneath the flared part of the dress to give it body, with an inner layer of a satin type material so that the dress does not catch on your shoes.

It has a built in bra, so no need to go shopping for underwear that will stay hidden under your dress, or having to wrestle with bras popping into sight all day, the dress IS the underwear.

The sweetheart neckline was cut to allow a modest amount of cleavage, I had noticed that some designers cut this shape way too high, so neckline sits closer to your collar bones, this was purposefully shaped to avoid that, and as a result looks more flattering.

The dress has a wrist loop for ease when walking and dancing, I wore the dress all day and evening, you will see from he video I could dance comfortably during my reception.

The veil can be included, it is a plain 3m plains veil that fits in with comb, because I knew I wanted shots with my veil blowing in the wind, it was made lightweight and plain. My bouquet matched perfectly and was a bunch of 35 silk cream faux roses and diamonte and pearl brooches (worth £200), this can also be included if wished. I have all the photos and video I need to immortalise my day without keeping some of these sentimental pieces.

MY STATS
Shape wise I am an 8 top and more of a 10 bottom, with bigger hips and bottom. If you are smaller that this there is some flexibility with the corset, it can be pulled tighter.

Size wise, I am 5ft 3 and wore it with 4 inch heels. I am a 30/32 D bust.

Because of the quality and design of the corsetry, the dress also stayed in place all day, so again no faffing with pulling it up and adjusting it all day.

In this one of a kind COURTURE dress, I wanted to feel amazing on my day, and in this I felt like a QUEEN, I would have been confident on any world stage red carpet in it.
