The Dress

A one-off dress made by J'aton Couture, unique in style and design. It's princess ball-gown style, and can covert into a stunning gown that can dance the night away!
The dress is in three parts. The top is a lace-up boned corset, with tiny shoulder straps and circular diamante clusters at the waist and base of shoulder straps. Then there is a very full tulle underskirt made from layer upon layer of tulle, with a silk lining. This is secured around the waist. And finally a draped silk overskirt, with a train, attached to the bodice with buttons
So after the wedding ceremony, the tulle underskirt can be removed leaving a draped slinky skirt, gathered high on one side. Add the matching long gloves, and be set to party at the reception - or leave the tulle skirt on.
The fabric is ivory or off-white French silk and Italian tulle. Satin ribbon laces the corset top.
I am 163 cm tall and a size 8, and wore 8 cm heels on the day. The dress has been worn once, then cleaned and stored in box.
