The Dress

This stunning dress was designed and created by Anna Campbell. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it and knew it was the dress for me as soon as I tried it on at the Anna Campbell boutique in Armadale! The dress attracted compliments from everybody on our wedding day, including passers-by! The Anna Topper features gorgeous silver, ivory and pearl toned beading that shimmered throughout the day and night. The Silk Brocade bodice and skirt slightly splits at the front and drapes at the back to create a delicate train. The train can be bustled using a single button at the back of the dress. The Anna Topper has been professionally attached to the fitted Silk Brocade bodice, so that the dress is in one piece, rather than two.

Sizing
The size on the label is XS and I usually wear size AU 8 dresses. I am 160cm tall and wore 8.5cm block heels on the day. My bust is an A-B cup and there is built-in bust inserts so that no bra is needed when wearing the dress.

Condition
The dress is in excellent condition. It was professionally dry cleaned by Syndal’s Bridal Dry Cleaners and the lovely ladies at Anna Campbell have already replaced any beading that fell off during the day.

I’m sad to part with this dress, but I hope it can provide another bride with as much happiness and love as it brought me!

Alterations

All alterations were completed at the Anna Campbell studio in Brunswick. The Anna Topper was bought in slightly and then attached to the fitted bodice so that the dress is in one piece, rather than two. The Silk Brocade skirt was altered to fit a height of 160cm with a 8.5cm heel. Bust inserts were also stitched into the bodice.
