The Dress

A tea length 1950’s inspired strapless wedding gown (size 12) in champagne satin, worn with an off the shoulder ivory lace jacket (size 10).

This stunning wedding gown is by British designer Loulou Bridal, known for its beautiful vintage 1950’s inspired styles (Style LB47 – Cicely) and is perfectly matched with an elegant Hadassa off the shoulder ivory lace jacket.

This gown is quite simply two dresses in one. The lace jacket is detachable and once taken off the dress transforms. As such it is ideal for day and evening reception wear. The tea length sits at the calf and allows for full sight of shoes. The under layer dress comprises of layers of satin and netting to give fullness.

This dress is a size 12, although some minor alterations were made to the bodice of the dress to improve the fit. The dress is in an excellent condition, with only two light marks on the back of the dress (which are hardly noticeable), and has been dry cleaned and stored in the original garment bag.

I loved wearing this dress on my wedding day - I was comfortable all day and it swishes beautifully when you dance!
