The Dress

Custom Marquise Bridal Dress. Completed in April 2019.

This dress is a hybrid of Marquise’s Mojave and Venice gowns. The top is consistent with the beading and neckline of the Mojave and the bottom was styled after Venice in regard to the beading detail on the hips and transition to crepe material.

The top is fully beaded with an ivory backing. The beading seamlessly transitions onto the hips, where it is paired with the beautiful crepe material.

This dress was so comfortable (given the light stretch of the crepe), easy to move around in and very lightweight. The dress has a small train, also making it extremely easy to move about in. I typically wear 6-8UK size.

Dress was dry-cleaned within a week of wearing and is safely kept within tissue and plastic covering. Dress is in amazing condition with minor wear towards the bottom of train.

Alterations

Minimal alterations were needed as the dress was custom made but included: sewn in breast cups and addition of buttons.
