The Dress

The most gorgeous modern minimal wedding dress! I searched forever to find this dress as I wanted something without lace but still dramatic and eye catching. Romona Keveza makes a lot of red carpet celebrity dresses as well as bridal gowns and I felt that this bridal gown was classic and timeless.

The gown is Romona Keveza style RK6460, a column sheath dress made from gorgeous 5 ply silk crepe that is very flattering and does not cling (the same material as Meghan Markle's wedding dress). the top of the dress has boning so also helps the dress to be flattering. The overskirt, style RK6460SKT (Cala Lily overskirt) is included and makes the dress very dramatic. It is shorter in the front with a long train in the back. The border of the overskirt is crinoline and makes the skirt hold it's shape. The skirt and dress can be work together or separately. I opted not to wear a belt.

The dress and skirt are in perfect condition and have been dry cleaned professionally by Terrington Burchett and are in perfect condition. The dress and overskirt retail for £14,000 at Brown's Bride.

Alterations

Alterations were done to take the dress in, and to shorten to floor length. The dress originally had extra length added, but then was taken up (I am 5ft 8 inches and wore 4 inch heels). The dress ran large when I collected it and I had it taken in, I am a UK size 8 or 10 normally, this was taken in to a size UK 10.
