The Dress

A classic Alyssa Kristen Bridal “Emery” Dress purchased from Lovemarie Bridal in Sydney in August 2019.

I had the designed altered from a side split to a centre split to make walking easier (and less penguin like)

Worn once to our wedding in September 2019. The only alteration that was made to the dress was the inclusion of a button at the back to hook the train up for ease but i did wish I had time to have cups built in for greater support (I repeat DO NOT leave your dress to the last minute like me!!)

Depressingly as the dress was made in America as per their sizing this is a size 14 (is wedding dress sizing not the most depressing thing ever!!) but in true size I am an Australian 10.

The dress has been dry cleaned and some minor discolouration does exist at the bottom of the dress as we were married on property and it rained. I didn’t tell the dry cleaner to aggressively clean the dress as I knew I was planning to sell it.
