About the Dress

This is a feminine chiffon A-line gown with an illusion V-neckline and lace appliques on the sleeves. It also has a chapel length train.

This dress was everything I ever wanted in a wedding dress! My five year old nephew said I looked like an angel, and kids definitely don't pull punches. It fit perfectly, was unbelievably comfortable even on an incredibly hot day, and I never felt more beautiful. In all the wedding dresses I had looked at before getting this one, and all the ones I've seen since, nothing looked as perfect to me as this dress. If this seems your style, I cannot possibly recommend it more.

The one warning I would give is that - as shown in the last photo provided - the back of the dress should probably be hemmed again: the ends are frayed from where I accidentally stepped on them while dancing (my seamstress might not have quite gotten my height quite right). Otherwise, the dry cleaners were able to get this dress back into absolutely pristine condition.

Alterations

This dress fit perfectly out of the box (there were NO size alterations done other than for height), so the only modifications made were hemming (I'm 5' 6" and wore flats), adding a bustle (buttons), and some breast padding (to get my Cs to perk up - boy they looked GOOD with the padding).
