The Dress
Made in 2018, purchased at Marie Gabriel Couture in Indianapolis. This is a beautiful, ethereal latte/white a-line gown with tulle skirt from Monique Lhuillier in size 6, I wear a 2/4 street size. In addition to the gorgeous lace on the bodice and illusion back detail, the color of this dress is what makes it shine. It is firmly in the blush category, but reads differently in different lighting. While this dress has a lot of fabric, I wore it in late summer in the Midwest and was comfortable. You will feel gorgeous in this dress on your wedding day!
Alterations
Length was altered to my height with 2-inch heels. Waist was taken in a very tiny bit. Alterations were performed by the seamstress at the wedding boutique I purchased this from, so you can be sure that they were done professionally and correctly. They added a French bustle for my reception which was very easily labeled with color coded threads for my MOH who was able to bustle it no problem. Bra cups added that can be removed.
