The Dress

The most incredible dress! Honestly - it was bridal and formal, but the corset in the bodice corrected my posture with minimal effort from me - so I felt really relaxed and taken care of in this dress, by this dress. The skirt is light and easy to pick up, dance in, move around a packed marquee! As with all Halfpenny designs - the dresses (I think) allow you to still feel like yourself, but the bridal (most attractive) you! It's corseted - so really sucks everything in and there's no need for a bra which is also blissful. The bodice has a sort of Vivienne Westwood vibe. The rich fabric feels fabulous against your skin. It's plain in design which would allow you to go a little out there with hair/accessories if you wanted. My veil (also Halfpenny) was covered in tiny stars. This was worn in the hight of summer and I felt cool - but I think could also work well for a winter wedding. I had the best day of my life and continue to feel blissfully married - so this dress is good vibes only : )
