The Dress

I absolutely loved my wedding dress! I got so many compliments on the day about how flattering it was and it was also so comfortable to wear, especially because of the crepe material, making it more stretchy and less restrictive. I also loved the train and how different it was in comparison to more traditional dresses. A bustle was added to the back of the dress for the train to button onto and I also had a handheld bustle which made it much easier getting around on the day.

The dress was only worn on my wedding day (March 2019)and is in excellent condition after the wedding. It has also been dry cleaned so looks brand new again (it has not been taken out of the box since it was dry cleaned). I also have all original invoices/receipts from the purchase of the dress.

Alterations

I made three slight alterations to the dress.
1) Added in additional cups in the bust area just so I looked 'fuller' in that area!
2) Added extra lace (that came with the dress) to the straps up on the shoulders as they were only tulle material and I felt as though that could break easily so I asked for the extra lace for reinforcement and peace of mind.
NOTE: can see added lace in 4th picture.
3) Also got extra lace added to both sides of the dress where some of the tulle was, exposing my small tattoo on my right hand side. I just didn't want it to be seen so I got two extra bits of lace (again they came with the dress) to put on either side. It can be removed if you wanted, but to be honest nobody would even notice.
