The Dress

I felt fabulous wearing this dress on my wedding day. It was a destination wedding and got it professionally dry cleaned afterwards. No fake tan was required on my wedding day.

The dress remains in perfect condition from the hips upwards. Around the bottom of the dress, there are imperfections. There was part of the train looked a bit grubby, so I got a professional dressmaker to remove a small part of the train after the wedding. The bottom of the dress itself is grubby from walking around outside. I did have the dress taken up initially before the wedding by 5cms so I have not got it taken up any more after the wedding in order to fix the dirt around the bottom. I felt that it was best to leave it to the new owner so that they can take it up according to their requirements. I am 5 foot, 6 inches and worn shoes with a medium heel.
The dress was originally a Stella York size 16. I lost weight and was a UK size 12 and had it taken in. I have included the current measurements of the dress.

I had thin cups inserted into the dress for extra support. There was a very small hole in the mesh at bottom right hand side so the dressmaker attached a piece of material from the section of the train that she removed, and covered the imperfection.

Bra professionally inserted into dress for additional support.
Length shortened professionally by 5cms, now 154cm from top of shoulder to bottom of dress.
Waist professionally took in to 76cm
Bust professionally took in to 77cm
Hips professionally took in to 94cm
